meaning ‘fire and flames’ in German. It is one of our absolute top
sellers from the Styrian Vulkanland. We like to describe it as a
young fruit for unforgettable moments.</xhtml:p>
<xhtml:p>The enchanting aroma of this Gelber Muskateller inspired us to
create an exclusive wine line in cooperation with the renowned
Krispel winery. Grown on various volcanic soils, the vines have
been shaped by the energy of fire and flames. This is a young wine
that shows freshness and liveliness on the palate. It is modern,
crisp and marked by a refined citrus note. It offers an intense
grape aroma while remaining elegant. Very juicy, it stands out in
the glass with its youthful and captivating character, with hints
of Muscat and elderflower. Expressive and aromatic, it finishes
with lasting grape notes. You will want another sip, and then
another, and another.</xhtml:p>
<xhtml:p>A wine that appeals to everyone. Perfect to enjoy on its own on
a terrace, ideal as a summer spritzer or as an aperitif. It offers
drinking pleasure at the highest level.</xhtml:p>

<xhtml:strong>Grauburgunder</xhtml:strong> (Pinot Gris) in the top Gols

demonstrates the high quality of this powerful, dry wine. It is one
of the most important wines on Georg’s estate, which has already
received several awards, an impressive achievement in this price
category. The wine is matured in large oak barrels, which give it
the necessary maturity. The grapes are reddish grey, and the must
is pink. The yeast removes the colour, leaving a golden yellow
wine. Notes of pear, meadow herbs and quince are evident. Its
subtle flavour and creamy texture make it an excellent
accompaniment to food.</xhtml:p>

<xhtml:div xmlns:xhtml="http://www.w3.org/1999/xhtml"><xhtml:p>There are wines where you realise as soon as you smell them that
this is something special. Grange Delay belongs exactly in this
category. A wine from the Ventoux AOC in the Rhône Valley, a small,
up-and-coming region on the left bank of the Rhône that is
attracting increasing attention with its remarkably exciting
wines.</xhtml:p>
<xhtml:p>In the glass, the wine shows a deep ruby red colour. The nose is
fine and complex, with ripe red fruit, dark berries and the typical
garrigue notes of the south. Rosemary, thyme and wild herbs
immediately give the wine that unmistakable scent of Provence. On
the palate, the cuvée is taut, juicy and wonderfully precise. The
fruit is lively, almost mouth-watering, and there is a well-defined
acidity that brings freshness and drive. This French wine has an
exceptionally long and elegant finish.</xhtml:p>
<xhtml:p>The grapes come from a single vineyard around the old family
farm, where the berries ripen slowly and evenly. Syrah was matured
in wood and adds further depth, fine flavour and structure. The
result is a wine that skilfully combines generosity with
finesse.</xhtml:p>
<xhtml:p>A fine accompaniment to lamb, game dishes, braised beef or
mature hard cheese. Anyone looking for Rhône wines with style,
length and a true sense of origin should consider this wine.</xhtml:p>

uncompromising quality. With the Vintage 2017, the house once again
shows why this icon is among the most sought-after sparkling wines
in the world.</xhtml:p>
<xhtml:p>The vintage was anything but easy. Spring frost, hot and dry
months, followed by rain shortly before the harvest, made for a
year full of challenges. Yet it is precisely in such years that
true greatness is revealed. Careful selection and a high level of
sensitivity have resulted in a champagne with tension, character
and remarkable energy.</xhtml:p>
<xhtml:p>On the nose, this vintage is immediately complex and compelling.
Floral notes, jasmine, candied citrus zest and subtle earthy hints
combine with a refined freshness. On the palate, this prestige
champagne is dynamic and lively. A creamy texture, fine pressure,
saline freshness and a long, dry finish create a truly striking
impression.</xhtml:p>
<xhtml:p>This cuvée of 61% Chardonnay and 39% Pinot Noir matured on the
lees for around eight years, giving it notable depth and harmony.
Perfect on its own for special occasions, yet also excellent with
oysters, scallops, fine fish, truffle dishes or delicate
poultry.</xhtml:p>

mastery of Burgundy-style wines. Alongside the Riesling
Heiligenstein, it is clearly one of the winery’s flagships.</xhtml:p>
<xhtml:p>After 12 months in barrique barrels, the wine is still quite
young, yet it already reveals its potential. With a little air in
the glass, the nose opens to fine roasted aromas from the wood,
accompanied by notes of freshly roasted hazelnuts. On the palate,
this beautiful hazelnut character returns and lingers pleasantly.
It is complemented by hints of banana and nougat, with the nougat
note in particular being quite unusual for a white wine. Despite
its richness, the wine also shows delicate spice and subtle
minerality. This is a young wine at the beginning of its
development, with the potential to age gracefully for 15 to 20
years.</xhtml:p>

Lugana Superiore is already convincing on the nose, with bright
fruit, ripe pear, some green apple and a fine spiciness. There is
also a delicate hint of wood that is not immediately obvious, yet
adds depth and character to the wine.</xhtml:p>
<xhtml:p>The 2024 vintage was almost ideal for us. As it was not as hot
around Lake Garda as in the previous year, the grapes were able to
hang longer and ripen perfectly. This is exactly what creates the
wonderful balance of ripeness, freshness and drinkability.</xhtml:p>

Heiligenstein, likely the most famous vineyard in the Kamptal. At
270 million years old, dating back to the Permian period, the site
is one of the geologically oldest formations in the region. A
unique combination of desert sandstone and volcanic components
provides the foundation for the vines. Between the vineyards, there
is a range of flora and fauna that is otherwise found only in
Mediterranean climates. On the carefully preserved stone terraces,
the interplay of soil, orientation, microclimate, and the
winegrower’s dedication produces exceptional Rieslings.</xhtml:p>

publications as one of the finest of its kind in Austria. The nose
reveals flint and delicate floral notes. On the palate, it shows
beautiful fruit development with smoky, stony, and chalky nuances,

Everything is tightly structured and finely interwoven, supported
by a lively acidity and a striking minerality typical of
Heiligenstein. It is elegant, juicy, and impressively
concentrated.</xhtml:p>

pure presence. This probably best-known red from Toro clearly shows
why it is so highly regarded. From the moment it is poured, it’s
evident that this is no ordinary Toro. Dark, dense and remarkably
concentrated, it still retains a sense of calm and elegance that is
truly striking.</xhtml:p>
<xhtml:p>The grapes come from extremely old, ungrafted vines—some well
over a hundred years old. These ancient Tinta de Toro vines produce
very low yields, but deliver exceptional concentration and depth.
After 18 months in French oak, the 2017 vintage reveals a
fascinating interplay of dark fruit, spice and maturity.</xhtml:p>
<xhtml:p>On the nose, there are aromas of black cherries, blackberries,
cassis and plums, complemented by notes of cocoa, espresso, cedar,
tobacco and oriental spices. The palate is powerful and dense, yet
never heavy. The tannins are substantial, but beautifully refined.
Despite its intensity, the wine shows remarkable freshness and
precision, making it incredibly compelling.</xhtml:p>
<xhtml:p>The finish is long, deep and lingers for minutes. A great
Spanish red with impressive ageing potential, it is already highly
enjoyable with a little air. Best decanted and served in large

present, allowing the fruit to take centre stage. The Pannobile red

<xhtml:div xmlns:xhtml="http://www.w3.org/1999/xhtml"><xhtml:p>Some wines simply need time to reveal their full potential. This
Spitzer Point Smaragd from 2018 is a perfect example. Today, it has
reached the stage where great Wachau Veltliners are most enjoyable,
showing maturity, depth, and a remarkable sense of calm that comes
from a good vintage and sufficient bottle ageing.</xhtml:p>
<xhtml:p>The vines, now over 60 years old, grow on Spitzer Point, a
striking site in the heart of the Wachau. Around Setzberg,
Zornberg, and Offenberg, fine weathered material has gathered over
thousands of years, giving the wines their distinctive minerality
and precision. After about ten months on the fine lees in large
wooden barrels, this Veltliner has developed impressive harmony and
complexity.</xhtml:p>
<xhtml:p>On the nose, it offers ripe yellow apple, pear, a touch of
apricot, and the characteristic herbal spice of a fine Grüner
Veltliner. Subtle notes of tobacco and a gentle nuttiness reflect
the wine’s maturity. On the palate, it is dense, juicy, and highly
precise. Its minerality is focused and saline, while the fruit
remains beautifully integrated.</xhtml:p>
<xhtml:p>The balance between power and freshness is especially striking.
Nothing feels tired or heavy. Instead, the 2018 expresses a relaxed
sense of greatness that makes mature Wachau wines so compelling.
Serve in large glasses and allow it some air to fully reveal its
character.</xhtml:p>

have to be overwhelming. Numanthia has proven this impressively for
years. The 2020 vintage shows remarkable power and concentration,
yet remains surprisingly precise and elegant - a wine with real
intensity, but also true class.</xhtml:p>
<xhtml:p>Its signature style is immediately evident on the nose: black
cherries, blackberries, cassis, and ripe plums are layered with
notes of dark chocolate, espresso, cedar, and fine spices. Subtle
hints of warm herbs and a touch of smokiness from oak ageing add
further complexity.</xhtml:p>
<xhtml:p>On the palate, the wine is dense, intense, and beautifully

<xhtml:p>An excellent accompaniment to grilled meat, ratatouille, pasta
with rich sauces, pizza or a relaxed evening with friends. An
honest Rhône wine that is highly enjoyable.</xhtml:p>

<xhtml:div xmlns:xhtml="http://www.w3.org/1999/xhtml"><xhtml:p>Viognier can be opulent and heavy, but it does not have to be.
This southern French wine shows the charming, fresh side of the
grape variety and is enjoyable from the very first glass. Fruity,
elegant and pleasantly uncomplicated.</xhtml:p>
<xhtml:p>In the glass, the wine is a bright golden yellow with fresh
highlights. The nose is defined by ripe apricots, delicate floral
notes and a hint of white fruit. On the palate, this white wine is
juicy, lively and well-balanced. The fruit is clear and inviting
without ever becoming overpowering. Thanks to ageing in concrete
tanks, everything remains precise, fresh and unaltered, which is
exactly what makes it so approachable.</xhtml:p>
<xhtml:p>The sandy soils of the vineyards provide ideal conditions for
Viognier. Here, the grape variety can develop its full aromatic
potential while retaining a pleasing lightness. The result is a
wine with character that never overwhelms.</xhtml:p>
<xhtml:p>This wine pairs well with grilled fish, Asian dishes, salads
with goat’s cheese or simply on its own on the terrace. A lively
white wine for anyone seeking fruit, freshness and elegance in a
glass.</xhtml:p>

<xhtml:div xmlns:xhtml="http://www.w3.org/1999/xhtml"><xhtml:p>Some discoveries are rare. This winery is certainly one of them
for us. A genuine insider tip, as you would usually have to spend
much more elsewhere for this level of quality. Secret du Vincent
clearly shows why we are so enthusiastic about this winery.</xhtml:p>
<xhtml:p>In the glass, the cuvée appears deep ruby red with a dense
colour. Ripe dark fruit, peppery spice and delicate roasted aromas
come through on the nose. These are joined by nutty notes
reminiscent of walnut, adding further appeal. On the palate, this
Rhône red is juicy, concentrated and full-bodied. At the same time,
a pleasant freshness adds tension, so the wine never feels heavy
despite its power. It is precisely this balance that makes it so
compelling.</xhtml:p>
<xhtml:p>Twelve months of ageing in wooden barrels gives the wine
structure, depth and elegant flavour without masking the fruit.
Syrah contributes intensity, flavour and dark fruit, while Grenache
brings charm, juiciness and warmth. Together, they create a wine
with great expression and impressive balance.</xhtml:p>
<xhtml:p>This red wine pairs well with leg of lamb, duck breast or
refined meat dishes with rich sauces. If you are looking for
powerful wines with substance, but do not want to compromise on
freshness and elegance, this is an excellent choice.</xhtml:p>

<xhtml:div xmlns:xhtml="http://www.w3.org/1999/xhtml"><xhtml:p>ICE Impérial is not just any demi-sec champagne. It is the
pioneer of an entire category of drinks: sparkling summer
beverages. In the 3-litre Jeroboam, it is certainly the centrepiece
of any party.</xhtml:p>
<xhtml:p>Only a few years ago, adding ice cubes to a glass of champagne
would have drawn disapproving looks in France. This changed with
ICE Impérial. Moët & Chandon developed a champagne specifically
for summer locations such as St Tropez, Ibiza and the beach clubs
of Miami.</xhtml:p>
<xhtml:p>Demi-sec, meaning quite sweet, this champagne truly reveals its
character when served over ice, ideally with a little lime and
perhaps a leaf of mint. It is extremely fruity, with clear notes of
honey, exotic fruits, mango and pineapple, and shows its best
qualities when well chilled.</xhtml:p>
<xhtml:p>ICE Impérial is even more impressive in the large 3-litre
bottle. The Jeroboam creates a striking visual effect and also
enhances harmony and freshness through slower maturation.</xhtml:p>
<xhtml:p>ICE Impérial has become a cult favourite. A look around shows
that many champagne houses and numerous sparkling wine producers
have followed, offering similar products. Often closely imitated,
but the original remains the original.</xhtml:p>
<xhtml:p>Very rare, highly sought after and almost always sold out. This
is especially true of the impressive 3-litre wooden crate.</xhtml:p>

      <xhtml:div xmlns:xhtml="http://www.w3.org/1999/xhtml"><xhtml:p><xhtml:strong>De-alcoholised wines</xhtml:strong> are becoming increasingly
popular. The renowned Krispel winery from the Styrian Vulkanland
region has embraced this trend with its <xhtml:strong>“Zero
2025”</xhtml:strong>, showcasing its expertise in white wine.</xhtml:p>
<xhtml:p>The finished wine is matured in stainless steel tanks and is
made from Muscat and Bouvier grapes. The alcohol is then gently
removed using a modern vacuum evaporator. Since alcohol acts as a
carrier of flavour, many wines of this kind can lack depth and
intensity. This is not the case with Zero.</xhtml:p>
<xhtml:p>There is almost no difference in the nose. Exotic fruits,
citrus, and elderflower notes are clearly present, along with a
hint of peach. On the palate, well-balanced acidity stands out at
first, followed by delicate sweetness and fruity aromas. The wine
is harmonious, grapey, and light-bodied.</xhtml:p>
<xhtml:p>A good alternative when alcohol is not desired. Enjoy it on its
own, as an aperitif, or paired with Asian dishes.</xhtml:p>
