hint of peach. On the palate, well-balanced acidity stands out at
first, followed by delicate sweetness and fruity aromas. The wine
is harmonious, grapey, and light-bodied.</xhtml:p>
<xhtml:p>A good alternative when alcohol is not desired. Enjoy it on its
own, as an aperitif, or paired with Asian dishes.</xhtml:p>

Sometimes a glass that is simply enjoyable is enough. This
<xhtml:strong>white wine</xhtml:strong> from the Georg Preisinger winery is
exactly that.</xhtml:p>
<xhtml:p>It reveals its inviting character from the very first sniff.
Fresh citrus notes, juicy apple and a hint of white flowers create

wonderfully juicy and has a freshness that immediately invites
another sip. Everything remains harmonious, balanced and remarkably
accessible.</xhtml:p>
<xhtml:p>The Sauvignon Blanc and Welschriesling grapes are organically

<xhtml:p>An exceptionally refined <xhtml:strong>Chianti Classico</xhtml:strong>,

<xhtml:p>Beautiful Bordeaux red in the glass with slight shimmering

Sangiovese character with herbal spice, sour cherries and mineral
notes. Subtle hints of vanilla come from around 50% of the wine
being matured in barriques.</xhtml:p>
<xhtml:p>Ripe and fruity on the palate, with excellent juiciness and

Vibrant acidity and fine, ripe tannins provide structure, while
herbal notes complement the typical red berry flavours. The finish

critics such as James Suckling, Robert Parker and Antonio Galloni.

herbs and a fine spiciness.</xhtml:p>

highly distinctive wine. After being largely forgotten for many
years, it has come to prominence again in recent times and now
stands as one of Vienna’s most characteristic white wine
specialities. The <xhtml:strong>diverse blend of grape
varieties</xhtml:strong>, often rooted in generations of tradition, tells
a story and expresses geology and origin in a remarkably vivid way.
Since 2013, the finest examples from the capital have been awarded
the DAC designation.</xhtml:p>
<xhtml:p>The grapes are harvested and processed together by hand on the
Bisamberg and Nussberg, then matured in stainless steel tanks. This
is a fine and well-known expression made from eleven different
grape varieties, clearly demonstrating why this dry white wine is
so widely appreciated. Organic cultivation is, as expected,
standard practice for leading winemaker Fritz Wieninger.</xhtml:p>
<xhtml:p>This Wiener Gemischter Satz DAC typically offers lively fruit
and freshness, with notes of fruit salad, orange blossom, citrus,
apricot and ripe yellow fruits. It is structured, juicy and defined

The Schoenenbourg Grand Cru site has been one of the region’s

<xhtml:p>From the very first glance, it is clear that something special
awaits. The colour is an intense straw yellow with golden

peach, ripe stone fruit, floral notes and delicate hints of honey.
This is complemented by the unmistakable limestone character of the
terroir, which gives the Riesling its distinctive personality.</xhtml:p>

the best possible sense, it is full of charm and offers a
well-judged balance of fruit, flavour and freshness.</xhtml:p>
<xhtml:p>In the glass, it shows a bright ruby red colour. The nose brings
ripe cherries, red forest berries and a hint of Mediterranean
herbs, along with a delicate spice that invites the first sip. On
the palate, this Tuscan wine is beautifully juicy, soft and well
balanced. The tannins are pleasantly subtle and, together with the
fresh style, give it an easy, flowing drinkability.</xhtml:p>
<xhtml:p>The Sangiovese grape variety thrives around Scansano. The warm
climate of southern Tuscany encourages intense fruit and appealing
ripeness, while cooling influences from the sea lend the wine its
refreshing character. This combination is exactly what makes
Morellino di Scansano so widely enjoyed.</xhtml:p>
<xhtml:p>It pairs perfectly with pasta in tomato sauce, pizza from a
wood-fired oven or grilled meat. It is also very enjoyable on its
own on the terrace. An honest Tuscan that is simply always a
pleasure.</xhtml:p>

fact a very exciting white grape variety from central Italy. This
wine shows clearly why we appreciate it so much. It appears bright
and fresh in the glass. The nose is characterised by lemon, lime,
green apple, a little pineapple and a hint of exotic fruit.</xhtml:p>
<xhtml:p>On the palate, the wine is crisp, lively and juicy. The acidity
immediately whets the appetite for another sip, the fruit remains

plenty of drinking pleasure.</xhtml:p>

<xhtml:div xmlns:xhtml="http://www.w3.org/1999/xhtml"><xhtml:p>Tuscany has a natural affinity for red wine, and this is a fine
example of why. This Morellino di Scansano Riserva clearly shows
why the area around Scansano has been gaining increasing attention
in recent years. Here, Mediterranean warmth meets freshness and
elegance, which is exactly what gives this red wine its
irresistible charm.</xhtml:p>
<xhtml:p>In the glass, the wine displays a deep ruby red colour with dark
reflections. On the nose, it opens with generous aromas of ripe
cherries and dark berries, accompanied by delicate herbal spice, a
touch of tobacco and a hint of vanilla. On the palate, it is juicy
and powerful, yet never heavy. The tannins are smoothly integrated
and, together with the lively freshness, create an excellent sense
of flow. It is this balance that makes the wine so appealing.</xhtml:p>
<xhtml:p>The Riserva is made primarily from Sangiovese, which thrives in
the conditions of southern Tuscany. The warm climate brings out
intense fruit and attractive ripeness, while the ageing process
adds further depth and complexity. This combination results in a
wine that is both approachable and full of character.</xhtml:p>
<xhtml:p>This Tuscan red pairs particularly well with pasta with ragù,
braised meats, game dishes or a classic Fiorentina steak. It is
equally enjoyable on its own in the evening.</xhtml:p>

exactly that, and does so with impressive finesse. It is powerful
and full of flavour, yet at the same time wonderfully
approachable.</xhtml:p>
<xhtml:p>This Tuscan wine displays plenty of character on the nose, with
dark redcurrants, ripe wild berries and refined notes of herbs,
tobacco and a hint of cedar wood. On the palate, it is full-bodied
and juicy, with beautifully integrated tannins and just the right
degree of intensity. Despite its strength, everything remains
pleasantly harmonious and well balanced.</xhtml:p>
<xhtml:p>The ageing process adds further depth and brings subtle spicy
notes that complement the dark fruit perfectly. The wine is never
heavy, but instead remains elegantly structured and easy to drink.
It is precisely this balance that makes it such an excellent

<xhtml:p>This Cabernet Sauvignon pairs particularly well with grilled
meat, steak, game dishes or robust pasta dishes with rich, dark
sauces. Matured hard cheese also complements its spicy character
beautifully. A red wine for those who appreciate intense yet
elegant Tuscan styles.</xhtml:p>

<xhtml:div xmlns:xhtml="http://www.w3.org/1999/xhtml"><xhtml:p>Many people associate wines from Puglia with high alcohol
content, power, firm tannins and sometimes a touch of residual
sugar. Of course, the southern Italian sun helps the grapes reach
full ripeness, bringing higher alcohol levels with it. But there is
another style, more approachable and charming, as the 12 e Mezzo
range from Varvaglione clearly demonstrates.</xhtml:p>
<xhtml:p>In the glass, it shows a deep, intense colour. On the nose,
juicy cherries and dark berries are accompanied by delicate notes
of vanilla and spice. On the palate, the wine is smooth, soft and
beautifully balanced. The tannins are pleasantly gentle, the fruit
remains at the forefront and is supported by a fresh acidity that
immediately invites another sip. A subtle hint of residual sugar
also contributes to its easy-going, approachable character.</xhtml:p>
<xhtml:p>A short period of ageing in oak adds just the right amount of
complexity without overshadowing the fruit. It is exactly this
balance that makes the wine so versatile.</xhtml:p>
<xhtml:p>Whether served with antipasti, pasta with tomato sauce, pizza,
or simply enjoyed on the terrace, this wine is suitable for almost
any occasion. Slightly chilled, it is also excellent on warmer
days.</xhtml:p>
