<xhtml:div xmlns:xhtml="http://www.w3.org/1999/xhtml"><xhtml:p>If you like white wine with plenty of freshness and character,
you really must try the <xhtml:strong>Greco di Tufo DOCG 2025</xhtml:strong>.
Because Greco is much more than just straightforward and
fruity.</xhtml:p>
<xhtml:p>On the chalky soils around Tufo, this grape variety develops its
characteristic mineral character. On the nose, the wine is intense
and fruit-forward. On the palate, things really come to life:
lively acidity, pronounced minerality and subtle balsamic notes
ensure that every sip remains wonderfully fresh and exciting.
Around four months’ ageing in stainless-steel tanks preserves the
wine’s clear, direct character.</xhtml:p>
<xhtml:p>For us, this is a really good accompaniment to food. It pairs
just as well with raw or delicately marinated seafood as it does
with buffalo mozzarella or pasta with white meat. And if you simply
fancy a characterful Italian white wine as an aperitif, it also
cuts a fine figure.</xhtml:p>
<xhtml:p>A Greco di Tufo that shows exactly why this grape variety is
such a delight in Irpinia: fresh, straightforward, mineral – and
anything but boring.</xhtml:p>

easy-going and enjoyable, yet still has plenty of character? Then
you should take a closer look at the <xhtml:strong>Falanghina</xhtml:strong>
del Sannio DOC 2025. The Falanghina grape variety is as much a part
of Campania as the sun, the sea and good food – and it’s precisely
this Mediterranean feel that the wine brings to the glass in such a
charming way.</xhtml:p>
<xhtml:p>On the nose, it’s fresh and inviting, with delicate white floral
notes and light fruit. Dry on the palate, it remains wonderfully
lively, balanced and crisp, without being overly assertive. Ageing
in stainless-steel tanks keeps the freshness beautifully intact and
makes it a truly versatile accompaniment.</xhtml:p>
<xhtml:p>Our tip: open it well chilled as an aperitif and then simply
leave it on the table. It pairs just as well with grilled fish,
pasta with seafood or a large antipasti platter as it does with
summery vegetable dishes or mild cream cheese.</xhtml:p>
<xhtml:p>A white wine for anyone who’d rather drink Italy than dream
about it – fresh, approachable and with a real taste of
Campania.</xhtml:p>

its origin shapes its flavour, it is this one. The <xhtml:strong>Cutizzi
Greco di Tufo Riserva DOCG 2024</xhtml:strong> from Feudi di San Gregorio
comes from the vineyard of the same name in Irpinia – very close to
a large sulphur mine. The mineral-rich soils, containing iron,
magnesium and potassium, give the wine precisely the character for
which it is renowned: straightforward, fresh and wonderfully
mineral. <xhtml:strong>96 Decanter</xhtml:strong> and <xhtml:strong>95 Falstaff
points</xhtml:strong> are testament to this magnificent wine!</xhtml:p>
<xhtml:p>In the glass, the Greco is yellow with golden highlights. On the
nose, notes of green plum and pear emerge, accompanied by a
delicate, almost minty spiciness. On the palate, it remains juicy
and fresh. Dry, the lively acidity meets a distinctive, slightly
salty minerality, ensuring that the wine maintains its lovely
momentum despite its depth.</xhtml:p>
<xhtml:p>After fermentation in steel tanks, the Cutizzi matures for
twelve months on its own lees, during which time it is stirred
regularly. A further three months’ bottle ageing gives it time to
settle without losing its freshness.</xhtml:p>
<xhtml:p>Our tip: pair with fish and seafood, a really good buffalo
mozzarella or a Mediterranean fish dish. A Greco for anyone looking
for freshness in a white wine, but who doesn’t want to compromise
on character and depth.</xhtml:p>

comes into its own when it’s combined with freshness, spice and
elegance. This is precisely where the 2021 <xhtml:strong>Taurasi</xhtml:strong>
DOCG from Feudi di San Gregorio comes into its own. It hails from
the hills surrounding the historic town of Taurasi in Irpinia,
where the grape variety thrives on the volcanic soils.</xhtml:p>
<xhtml:p>In the glass, the wine glows a deep ruby red with garnet-red
highlights. On the nose, it gets straight to the point: sour cherry
and Maraska cherry meet cinnamon and nutmeg, followed by vanilla
and a hint of aniseed. On the palate, the Aglianico is full-bodied
and well-balanced. The tannins are present but soft and rounded,
and the finish lingers pleasantly for a long time.</xhtml:p>
<xhtml:p>To add extra depth, the Taurasi is given plenty of time: it
matures for 18 months in barriques, followed by at least a further
18 months in the bottle. This makes it a red wine with structure
and character, without the fruit being overshadowed by the ageing
process.</xhtml:p>
<xhtml:p>Serve it with roast beef, hearty stews or roast poultry. And if
you like Italian red wines with real substance, you really ought to
have tried a Taurasi at least once. This one is a pretty good
reason to do so.</xhtml:p>

Greco di Tufo Riserva DOCG 2022 from</xhtml:strong> Tenute Capaldo (part
of the Feudi estate) impressively demonstrates the potential of
this ancient grape variety. The grapes come from selected vineyards
in the San Paolo area near Tufo, specifically from the Contrade
Nassano, Laura and Cicogna. Here, at an altitude of 300 to 400
metres above sea level, the vines grow in the immediate vicinity of
the old sulphur mines that make this area so special.</xhtml:p>
<xhtml:p>After being harvested by hand, the Greco is fermented in
stainless steel. It is then given plenty of time to develop: around
80 per cent of the wine matures for a year in oak, whilst the
remaining 20 per cent is aged in amphorae. This is followed by a
further year of bottle ageing. The result is a far cry from a
straightforward summer white wine.</xhtml:p>
<xhtml:p>On the nose, the Goleto is complex, revealing ripe apple, peach
and citrus fruit, complemented by floral notes, subtle toasted
aromas and a hint of almond. On the palate, it is powerful and
creamy, whilst the typical freshness of Greco ensures a really good
flow. Added to this is a salty, mineral character that makes the
wine exciting and gives it a long finish.</xhtml:p>
<xhtml:p>A truly excellent accompaniment to grilled fish, shellfish or a
hearty seafood pasta dish. It also pairs wonderfully with white
meat or mature cheeses. And one thing’s for sure: this is a white
wine that can easily be cellared for a few years.</xhtml:p>

2025 from</xhtml:strong> Feudi di San Gregorio brings the fresh,
unpretentious charm of Campania to the glass – without ever
becoming boring.</xhtml:p>
<xhtml:p>For the Serrocielo, Feudi selects Falanghina grapes from
particularly suitable vineyards. In the glass, the wine is pale
yellow with greenish highlights. On the nose, delicate white
blossoms meet subtle fruity notes. On the palate, it remains
pleasantly fresh and balanced, with a soft texture and a crisp,
clean finish.</xhtml:p>
<xhtml:p>The Falanghina is fermented at low temperatures in stainless
steel tanks. It is then left on its own lees for around five to six
months. Regular stirring of the fine lees gives the wine additional
structure without masking its lively character.</xhtml:p>
<xhtml:p>That’s exactly why the Serrocielo is such a delight at the
table: with sautéed clams, prawn salad, stuffed mussels or
spaghetti with seafood. And if you’re simply looking for a fresh,

grooves were inspired by Massimo Vignelli’s design, whilst the
light blue label is reminiscent of a cloudless sky. Serrocielo,
indeed.</xhtml:p>

great red grape varieties. The grapes come from a small plot in
Contrada Baiano near Castelfranci, at an altitude of around 350 to
380 metres above sea level. After being harvested by hand, the wine
is aged for 18 to 24 months in oak and then for more than two years
in the bottle.</xhtml:p>
<xhtml:p>In the glass, it’s not just about power. The 2020 vintage
combines floral notes with white pepper, wild cherry and raspberry.
On the palate, the typical structure of Aglianico comes to the

it truly exciting. Wine Enthusiast has awarded this vintage
<xhtml:strong>94 points</xhtml:strong>.</xhtml:p>

springs. This small volcanic island off the coast of Naples also
has a rather exciting wine scene – and the Costa delle Parracine
<xhtml:strong>Biancolella</xhtml:strong> Ischia DOC 2025 shows you exactly why.
Biancolella is a <xhtml:strong>white grape variety</xhtml:strong> typical of
Campania’s coastline and islands, and here it produces a
wonderfully distinctive white wine.</xhtml:p>
<xhtml:p>The grapes are grown near Forio at an altitude of around 300
metres above sea level on volcanic soils. The vines are around 25
years old, and the wine is then aged for four months in stainless
steel. There’s no need for oak here – because the focus is on
freshness, terroir and the island’s unmistakable character.</xhtml:p>
<xhtml:p>On the nose, you’ll find white flowers and fresh citrus notes.
On the palate, the Biancolella is crisp, juicy and pleasantly
light-footed. Particularly exciting is its subtle salty and mineral
character, which gives it excellent length and immediately brings
to mind its proximity to the sea.</xhtml:p>
<xhtml:p>This is exactly the sort of wine we like to drink with grilled
fish, calamari, mussels or a simple seafood pasta. But it’s also a

<xhtml:p>The vinification process is fascinating: 30 per cent of the
grapes remain on the skins for a whole week, whilst the rest for
just three days – a combination that lends the wine extra depth. It
is then aged for seven months in concrete tanks and a further two
months in the bottle.</xhtml:p>
<xhtml:p>In the glass, it displays an intense straw-yellow colour; on the
nose, it is broad and fascinatingly mineral, with various fruity
nuances. On the palate, it is well-balanced, with superb
minerality, good acidity and notes of flowers and yellow fruit.</xhtml:p>
<xhtml:p>A dream pairing with raw fish, oysters, seafood and fried fish –
best served well chilled at 10 to 12 degrees.</xhtml:p>

<xhtml:strong>Primitivo</xhtml:strong> is undoubtedly one of the trendiest
Italian red wines of recent years and has become an indispensable
part of any wine range. But why? What makes Primitivo so
popular?</xhtml:p>
<xhtml:p>Perhaps it’s the variety this grape has to offer, from fruity,
smooth wines that provide plenty of drinking pleasure for little
money to rich, oak-aged, full-bodied powerhouses. Primitivo has it
all. However, its underlying character, that beguiling fruitiness,
is always present and is quite reminiscent of liquorice. In short,
these wines are simply a joy to drink and are perfect for a wide
range of occasions.</xhtml:p>
<xhtml:p>Consistency is also something we associate with the La Pruina
winery. The 2025 vintage of <xhtml:strong>the Primitivo Puglia
IGT</xhtml:strong> once again impresses with its immense fruitiness and
sheer drinking pleasure. The bouquet offers wonderful fruit aromas,
with plenty of red berries accompanied by a hint of liquorice. This
impression is confirmed from the very first sip, with delicate
fruit sweetness and plenty of red berries. A hint of minerality and
lively acidity provide a pleasing contrast to the sweetness. The
finish brings a touch of sour cherry, along with a very delicate
hint of liquorice and a subtle raisin aroma.</xhtml:p>
<xhtml:p>Despite its affordable price, it’s worth letting the wine
breathe a little. Otherwise, you may only experience its full aroma
with the very last sip and miss out on the greatest enjoyment.</xhtml:p>
<xhtml:p>A brilliant Primitivo that’s perfect for all sorts of occasions
and will certainly enhance any celebration or get-together with
friends. It’s also lovely served slightly chilled at a summer
garden party.</xhtml:p>
<xhtml:p>Fun fact: the pattern on the label is inspired by the typical
tile patterns found in old Roman stately homes in Apulia.</xhtml:p>

<xhtml:p>Typical grapey Muscat notes characterise the nose, without being

characteristic of the variety and refreshing. A bottle of this will

deep-lying vineyard, with a gradient of up to 73 per cent, is
situated right next to the Dürnstein ruins. Thanks to the many
hours of sunshine, the stony soils and the steep terraces, these
conditions are perfectly suited to this Grüner Veltliner.</xhtml:p>
<xhtml:p>This is exactly how a high-quality single-vineyard Veltliner at
this level should taste: dry, refined and delicately spicy, with
subtle hints of herbs and yellow fruits. The well-structured
acidity immediately makes you want to take a second sip, yet it
still exudes grandeur and elegance without coming across as
ostentatious. The finish reveals the typical Veltliner character
with subtle citrus notes that linger in the memory for a long time.
Pure drinking pleasure!</xhtml:p>
<xhtml:p>A wine that is perfect as a versatile accompaniment to food, but
which pairs particularly well with classic pub fare. And with that,
you simply can’t go wrong.</xhtml:p>

<xhtml:p>The<xhtml:strong>‘Neuburger’</xhtml:strong> grape variety was first

of the Wachau, as it prefers slightly cooler sites.</xhtml:p>

for the next three to five years.</xhtml:p>

<xhtml:div xmlns:xhtml="http://www.w3.org/1999/xhtml"><xhtml:p>This is the straightforward side of Primitivo: Apulian, modern
and just the ticket if you’re looking for a red wine that doesn’t
have to be complicated. The Primitivo Puglia IGT 2025 comes from
Italy – specifically from Apulia – and the label alone sets the
tone: the south, sunshine, red earth and a wine that’s a pleasure
to drink.</xhtml:p>
<xhtml:p>La Pruina represents a modern, versatile interpretation of this
grape variety. The Puglia IGT designation indicates its origin in
Apulia, a region where Primitivo has long been part of the southern
wine landscape. This isn’t a heavy, aloof red wine; rather, it’s an
accessible style that suits everyday life just as much as a long
evening with friends.</xhtml:p>
<xhtml:p>In Apulia, Primitivo is one of those grape varieties that is
easy to understand. It embodies warmth, charm and an open-hearted
nature. The current vintage comes in a 0.75-litre bottle and
remains pleasantly straightforward: Primitivo, Puglia IGT, La
Pruina – a modern wine from southern Italy.</xhtml:p>
<xhtml:p>That’s precisely why this wine is so well suited to a relaxed
meal. Serve it with pasta in tomato sauce, oven-baked pizza,
antipasti, grilled vegetables or a casual barbecue. These are the
moments when a versatile Primitivo from Puglia really comes into
its own.</xhtml:p>
<xhtml:p>If you’re looking for a red wine with a Mediterranean feel but
without being overpowering, you’ve come to the right place. This
Puglia IGT remains down-to-earth, approachable and versatile – a
wine for anyone who likes Primitivo and appreciates simple moments
of enjoyment.</xhtml:p>
