Pinot Nero requires very specific conditions, and this site provides them perfectly. The vines for this wine were planted in 1996 and are located on a cool east to north-east facing slope, protected by the surrounding forests. Sandy, loamy soils give the wine elegance, freshness and a fine, velvety texture that is immediately apparent in the glass.

The wine shows an intense ruby red colour with delicate garnet reflections. On the nose, it is open and layered, offering floral notes of violet and jasmine, followed by red berries and a subtle, refined spiciness. Nothing dominates. Everything is finely balanced and harmonious.

On the palate, this Pinot Nero is juicy and enveloping. Red fruit, gentle spice and a pleasant mineral freshness are beautifully interwoven. The tannins are silky and soft, while the acidity adds tension and flavour without standing out. The finish is long, elegant and fresh.
