Fraccaroli is one of the finest and most renowned producers around Lake Garda, and this Lugana Pansere is a real standout. The bottle alone conveys a sense of quality, although here it is the wine itself that truly matters.

The grapes are grown in vineyards located between Peschiera del Garda and Sirmione, on limestone and clay soils. The Turbiana grape variety is synonymous with Trebbiano di Soave, the indigenous grape variety of northern Italy.

The 2025 vintage is impressive. In the glass, the wine shows a straw yellow colour with delicate green reflections. On the nose, it reveals subtle fruity aromas of pear, white peach and a hint of apple, accompanied by fresh citrus notes. On the palate, this is a Lugana of real character: fresh and lively, highly inviting and very easy to drink. The balance between sweetness and acidity is harmonious and encourages another sip. The finish is marked by a refined and delicate hint of bitter almond.

This is a Lugana that is ready to enjoy now, yet it also has the potential to age gracefully for several years. Rather than opening all the bottles too quickly, it is worth giving some time for further development, as the wine will benefit from additional ageing.
