Description

The Grüne Sylvaner is the oldest grape variety in Austria and is unfortunately hard to find. In Germany, this white grape varietal is also known as Österreich-Rebe (Austrian vine). Unfortunately, however, only around 50 hectares of this prime autochthonous varietal are still cultivated.

This unique wine is made with grapes from 25-year-old vines and is always a hit at blind tastings. Smoky and delicate with fine pear and quince flavours. Remains lively and ensures a great drinking flow with its juicy acidity.

The perfect accompaniment with asparagus. Pairs well with other vegetables too.
