Description

Can you call a wine your favourite if it is not very expensive? You can, of course, but to be honest, we tend to have several favourites. The Grüner Veltliner Peunt is one of them. The new 2025 vintage has been awarded 92 Falstaff points, making it one of the best Federspiels in the Wachau. We would even give it 93 points.

A very drinkable Grüner Veltliner that offers more than the price might suggest. A beautiful nose with fresh stone fruit, herbs and a mineral note. Extra dry on the palate, yet very juicy and lively, quite powerful but well balanced. Notes of citrus and pale fruit, some peach, and a good level of complexity. Very fine, with a good, long finish. We can recommend it without reservation, and it pairs wonderfully with many everyday dishes.
