La Pruina Vini Negroamaro Puglia IGT 2024, 0,75 L

One of those wines that may not catch the eye initially, but wins over many fans after the first sip at the latest.

Negroamaro means dark and bitter. The grape variety generally has a dark, very dense colour and a correspondingly high level of tannins. However, when the wine is matured carefully, as this one is, it produces fantastic and almost dangerously drinkable red wines that are simply great fun to enjoy.

This Negroamaro shows the typical dark berry fruit on the nose, with blueberry, blackberry and a hint of sour cherry. It is very round on the palate, with a pleasant sweetness that meets the fresh acidity and makes the wine appear very balanced.

A great, uncomplicated red wine from Apulia from one of the best wineries in the region, perfect with a barbecue and equally enjoyable slightly chilled in summer.
