Monte Tondo Amarone della Valpolicella DOCG 2019, 0,75 L

Anyone who loves Amarone will instantly fall for this exceptional wine from a traditional family estate. Powerful, dark, and beautifully concentrated – just as a modern Amarone should be.

The grapes, Corvina and Rondinella from the Valpolicella Classico region, are carefully dried in crates for around four months before being gently pressed and left on the skins for about 25 days. The wine then matures in barrique barrels for approximately 40 months, developing remarkable depth and character.

On the palate, it shows an elegant, full-bodied structure that captivates the senses without ever feeling heavy or overly sweet. With just 4.5 g of residual sugar – unusually low for this style – it achieves a perfect balance between richness and freshness. Notes of dried fruit, cinnamon, and a hint of vanilla mingle with floral tones and sweet spice. Silky, refined, and beautifully composed, it finishes endlessly long, leaving a smile on your face.
