Description
It is always remarkable what Lorenz Allram achieves with this “entry-level”, single-vineyard wine. The Grüner Veltliner Ried Hasel is not only often highly rated for its price, it is also immediately appealing from the first sip. It is perfectly balanced, subtle and full of harmony. Dry and classically matured in stainless steel tanks, this Kamptal white wine enjoys wide popularity.
On the nose, it shows a typical bouquet of spices with slightly exotic notes. Extra dry on the palate, it is fragrant with a full, lively acidity, a classic Veltliner character and an easy drinking, medium body. The balance of fruit and flavour is excellent. Everything comes together seamlessly. A lot of wine for the price, and organic as well.
Ideal with salads, traditional home cooking, or simply enjoyed on its own any day.
