Dopff au Moulin Riesling Domaine Familial 2019, 0,75 L

The “Familial” line at Dopff is a gateway to the upper echelons of wine. Carefully harvested grapes from their own vineyards in top locations, skilful winemaking expertise along with long storage on the lees ensure a remarkable Riesling year after year.

Bright yellow in the glass, the wine appears sparkling and radiant. Immediately apparent on the nose that this is a Riesling. Typical stone fruit notes, exotic fruits and mineral notes. Juicy, complex and mineral on the palate. It's very balanced, with the racy acidity typical of a Riesling. Slightly salty in the finish, delicate bitter notes that beg you to take another sip.

A wine that can mature for 10+ years, but will soon have reached its perfect drinking maturity. Pairs well with white meat, seafood and shellfish as well as quiche.
