Description

This perfectly balanced, still young organic red wine blend made from 80% Zweigelt and 20% Blaufränkisch has a scent of ripe blackberries with delicate nougat. Juicy on the palate, then a long finish with a silky, soft tannin structure. Appears light-footed, fresh and stimulating. Fine spice like cardamom. The wood from used 500l barrels is discreetly noticeable. The focus is on the fruit. This red Pannobile is now nice to drink, but should be decanted or aerated a little in the glass. If stored, it will put a smile on your face for the next 10 years. Pairs well with red meat and game, and is perfect for a nice evening with friends.

The name Pannobile refers both to the origin (Pannonia) and the special value of these wines (noble). 9 winegrowers from Gols joined forces over 25 years ago to create a Burgenland brand that clearly signals quality. All Pannobiles are also characterised by their maturation in used barriques and the use of mainly autochthonous (= local) grape varietals.
