Günter u. Regina Triebaumer Ruster Reserve 2021, 0,75 L

This captivating and bold red wine cuvée was created exclusively with top winery G+R Triebaumer from Rust. Blaufränkisch, Merlot and Cabernet Sauvignon form a perfect symbiosis and join the ranks of the country's great cuvées.

A combination of wines several different barrels was chosen so as to appeal to every red wine enthusiast. Harmony and drinking pleasure along with the strength of the Rust vineyards. 60% Blaufränkisch and 20% each of Cabernet Sauvignon and Merlot were allowed to mature for 18 months in barriques, some of which were new, before ageing for a further 5 months in the bottle. Now it transformed into a cosy and warm wine. That 2021 was a fantastic vintage year, also contributed its part.

Dark, concentrated, with a subtle roasted flavour on the palate. Juicy, with a fine fruity sweetness, every sip runs warm and cosy down the finish. Black elderberry, nougat with blackberries and subtle vanilla send their regards. A mouthful of wine probably sums it up best. It is already ready to drink but can certainly be stored for up to 10 years. Alcohol content: 14 % ABV.

Destined to everyone's favourite and a hit at every party. It pairs well with dark meat and BBQ. Or simply enjoy a glass on its own on colder days to warm your heart. Cheers!
