Following a long tradition, Rust has always produced Spätlese wines with a delicate fruit sweetness. They are less sweet than Ruster Ausbruch or Beerenauslese.

This Spätlese, with 76 g of residual sugar, stands out for its freshness and lively character. Only hand-picked, fully ripe Sauvignon Blanc grapes from Rust were fermented in stainless steel tanks to preserve their freshness. Fermentation was stopped by natural cooling, creating a pleasant residual sweetness and juicy texture.

Aromas and flavours of fully ripe yellow pears and honeydew melon combine with juicy tropical fruits, lingering on the nose and palate. A beautiful, well-balanced acidity adds vibrancy and delivers immense drinking pleasure.

It pairs wonderfully with a variety of desserts and well-ripened cheese. An easy-going wine made from a pure natural product.
