The Weinviertel region and Grüner Veltliner are a perfect match. The Goldblatt GV 2025 is a new exclusive bottling from the renowned Hagn winery in Mailberg, a white wine that is consistently a reliable choice and a true pleasure to drink.

The grapes come from various vineyards with loess soils around the village of Mailberg. Matured in the traditional way in stainless steel tanks, it is not overly full bodied, with an alcohol content of just 12.0% by volume and a well balanced interplay of fruit, spice and acidity. The colour is a clear, bright gold. On the nose, it reveals aromas of ripe apples, exotic fruits and a subtle hint of herbs. On the palate, it is juicy and harmonious, with pronounced fruit notes of light stone fruit and white pepper. A delicate fruit sweetness balances a pleasant acidity that brings the wine to life. Lively yet distinctly Veltliner, with a medium length finish marked by spice and refreshing citrus notes.
