An impressive red wine from Silvia Heinrich, produced in strictly limited quantities. The first Syrah vines in the Alte Weingebirge of Deutschkreutz were planted by Silvia’s parents back in the 1990s.

With the Alte Reben Silvia Heinrich Edition, Silvia has fulfilled a long-held dream: creating a new style of wine that reflects both tradition and innovation. Each bottle is given the time it needs to mature, bearing Silvia’s personal signature on the label—distinguishing it not only in quality but also in appearance from the other wines in the Heinrich portfolio.

The wine matures gently for almost 48 months in 500-litre oak barrels made from local wood, with minimal toasting and no heavy barrique notes. The result is a wine that is pure and authentic, straightforward yet full of depth, warmth, and elegance. Chapeau!

On the palate, it shows fine structure and noble Syrah character: ripe rowanberry notes, delicate smoky-earthy tones, and a touch of after-eight coolness, complemented by a subtle, elegant use of oak. The fine-grained tannins lend depth, while rowan berries and fine spices carry into a long, lingering finish. A wine that unites passionate craftsmanship with modern sensitivity in perfect harmony.
