Château Jean Faux Sainte Radegonde 2019 Bordeaux Supérieur Rouge Bio, 0,75 L

The 2019 vintage shows Sainte-Radegonde Rouge at its very best: powerful, elegant, and with remarkable depth. This cuvée of 80% Merlot and 20% Cabernet Franc grows on the chalky soils of Sainte-Radegonde, which lend the wine its fresh structure and clarity.

After manual harvesting and careful selection, fermentation took place in stainless steel tanks, followed by 14–16 months of ageing in French barriques (around 25% new). The result is a perfect balance of fruit, flavour, and fine oak influence.

In the glass, it presents a deep, dark ruby red. The nose reveals blackberries, cassis, and ripe cherries, enriched by spices such as clove and black pepper, along with roasted notes, vanilla, a touch of tobacco, and fine minerality.

On the palate, the 2019 is full-bodied and structured, with ripe, fine-grained tannins and lively acidity. The dense fruit remains vibrant, elegantly layered with coffee, chocolate, and herbal nuances. The finish is long, harmonious, and precise, reflecting the finesse of this outstanding vintage.

A perfect partner to game, braised dishes, robust beef, or mature cheeses. With an ageing potential of at least 15 years, this is an organic Bordeaux of character and distinction.
