A dream of a Sicilian red wine in a limited special edition.

The Rosso Leggeremente Appassito is made from 100% Syrah. Before harvesting, the grapes are dried on the vine. This results in more concentrated flavours and a higher alcohol content due to the evaporation of water. After 15 days on the skins, the wine matures for several months in barrique barrels. This limited special series is produced only in the best years.

The intense garnet-red colour is already striking in the glass. A concentrated, intense nose of ripe plums, strawberry jam and a hint of cocoa, accompanied by elegant peppery notes. Every sip is powerful, gripping and intensely fruity on the palate. Full-bodied and dense, each sip glides down the throat. The delicate fruit sweetness lingers for a long time and testifies to the concentration of the grapes.

A powerful, pleasing red wine that is simply fun to drink and instantly appealing. Pairs wonderfully with lasagne, spaghetti ragu or braised beef.
