Can it be your favourite wine if it's not super expensive? Of course! But to be honest, we have several contenders for our favourite wine. The Grüner Veltliner Peunt is one of them and includes the new 2022 vintage. The 2021 vintage was given a 93-point rating at the Falstaff Federspiel Cup and came in 2nd place.
A thoroughly drinkable Grüner Veltliner that tastes a lot more expensive thatn the price would lead you to expect. Beautiful nose with fresh stone fruit, herbs and a mineral touch. Very juicy and lively on the palate, quite powerful but very balanced. Hints of citrus and light-coloured fruit, some peach and fairly complex. A fine, long finish. We recommend it without reservation.
Pairs well with a variety of foods.
