Description

A highly-rated wine made by the 3 Reinisch brothers from Tattendorf in the Austrian thermal region. With this Pinot Noir from the Holzspur vineyard, the winery has won almost all of the country's major wine awards and caused a sensation. This temperamental red grape is just made for the region.

Pinot Noir is a diva and you either like it or you don't! This very elegant, still young and yet representative Pinot Noir is easy to love. Everything fits perfectly together. After 16 months in new French barriques and then 6 months in the bottle, the wine is now showing its full potential. It has a youthful, transparent colour. Light forest berries, some cherries and finely interwoven roasted aromas are carried by harmony and a firm, lively structure. It's warm in the glass and there's a long finish with subtle candied orange. Long shelf life.

A fantastic Austrian Pinot Noir!
