Description

Cabernet Sauvignon is the most important grape varietal worldwide. Here in the Leitha Mountains, Andi Kollwentz manages again and again to produce wine that matures to the highest quality. A wine in the international style that immediately cast a spell on us and is now ready to drink.

The grapes are carefully hand-picked and selected from Austria's oldest Cabernet Sauvignon vineyard. They are then allowed to mature for 24 months in new barriques, followed by some time in the bottle.

A fully ripe, dry red wine, strong and still fresh on the palate. The wood is wonderfully integrated. Ripe red currants, cassis and delicate vanilla flair impress with every sip. Harmonious, warm with a slight mint note, it swings into the long finish. The optimal drinking maturity is certain to be in the next five years, although the wine can be stored for much longer.

A fantastic companion to steak and game, or a wine to praise in front of good friends.
