Kollwentz Cabernet Sauvignon 2022, 0,75 L

Cabernet Sauvignon is the most important grape variety in the world. Here in the Leithagebirge, Andi Kollwentz consistently succeeds in bringing it to the highest level of quality, a wine of true international calibre that immediately captivates.

The grapes are carefully hand-harvested and selected from Austria’s oldest Cabernet Sauvignon vineyard. The wine then matures for 24 months in new barriques, followed by additional ageing in the bottle.

A fully mature, dry red wine—powerful yet fresh on the palate. The oak is beautifully integrated. Ripe redcurrants, cassis, and a delicate hint of vanilla delight with every sip. Harmonious and warm, with a subtle note of mint, it lingers gracefully into a long finish. Its optimal drinking window lies within the next five years, though it will age beautifully for much longer.
