Description
A textbook example of a typical Eisenberg DAC Blaufränkisch, recognised as one of the best in its category. The 91 Falstaff points also speak for themselves.
That’s really good value for money in this price range. Hand-harvested and selected from various vineyards around the Eisenberg. Matured in large, second-hand wooden barrels. Spicy on the nose, with lovely fruit and aromas of dark blackberries; very dry on the palate, yet juicy and lively, with soft tannins and an uncomplicated structure; very drinkable now and sure to be a delight in a few years’ time too.
A wonderful, versatile food companion that fits beautifully on any table and perfectly represents Southern Burgenland.
