This Riesling 2023 from the first vineyard "Ried Berg" from the top winery Markus Huber is always one of the best of its kind and is rightly rated very highly by critics every year.

The chalky and barren soil with a slope of over 25 % is perfect for the king of white wines. Organically harvested by hand, selected and then matured for 8 months in large wooden barrels, it is slowly beginning to mature for drinking, although it certainly has the potential for the next 15-20 years and more.

Very elegant, dry and flavoursome on the nose and palate. Ripe stone fruit paired with fine tropical fruit. Multi-faceted and inviting at the same time. The perfectly integrated acidity ensures a great balance. A great wine with enormous length without being opulent.

Pairs wonderfully with fish, seafood or Asian cuisine.
