The 2024 single-vineyard Riesling from the "Ried Berg" vineyard by the top estate Markus Huber consistently ranks among the best of its kind and is rightly awarded very high scores by critics every year.

The chalky, sparse soil and a slope gradient of over 25% create the perfect conditions for the "King of White Wines". Organically farmed, hand-picked, carefully selected, and then matured for eight months in large oak barrels, it is just starting to enter its drinking window, although it possesses the potential to age for the next 15–20 years or more.

On the nose and the palate, the wine is incredibly elegant, dry, and intensely fruity. Expect ripe stone fruit paired with delicate tropical notes. It is multifaceted and inviting at the same time. The perfectly integrated acidity ensures superb balance. This is a truly great wine with immense length, yet without being overtly opulent.

It pairs wonderfully with fish, seafood, or is an excellent complement to Asian cuisine.
