Monte Tondo Garganega Heart Collection Veronoa IGT 2022

Garganega is an exciting white grape variety found in the region around Verona near Lake Garda. The Heart Collection is a limited special series aged in both stainless steel tanks and large wooden barrels. It’s not just the waxed bottle with the unique label that stands out.

This is a smooth white wine with genuine substance. It feels elegant rather than exaggerated, offering a certain depth of flavour owing to the volcanic soil of the region. You can clearly taste the hand-tended care of the vines and harvest that is customary at Monte Tondo.

On the nose and the palate, the wine is dry and clearly structured. The fresh acidity lends it lightness, while at the same time, you feel a pleasant warmth and a gentle body. The fruit notes from the aroma are confirmed: pear, a hint of white peach—along with a slight almond-like bitterness on the finish, which is typical for the Garganega grape variety. The fine minerality also remains present here, ensuring a pleasant aftertaste.

The ideal companion for a relaxed evening. Great with seafood or white meat, but also highly enjoyable solo - perfect for savouring the moment.
