A handcrafted special edition by 9Weine managing director Herbert (Hörbs) Zerche, created in cooperation with the Alfred Moritz organic winery, to showcase how pure and unadulterated Blaufränkisch from Horitschon can be.

Only the best grapes were hand-harvested from the Hochäcker vineyard and carefully selected. The NIX is unsulphurised, unfiltered, not pumped over, and not fined. The wine fermented for six months on the skins in wooden barrels and was then matured for 36 months in a new French barrique. Bottled by hand, corked, sealed with wax, and finished with a cork label — this is pure craftsmanship.

A deep, pure berry fruit aroma with roasted notes from the wood rises to the nose. On the palate, it is clean, pure, and elegant. Blackberries, vanilla, and cherries invite you in and greet you with warmth. So juicy, it makes your mouth water. Powerful tannins meet a full, elegant body. It draws all attention to itself and ends with a broad smile — a cosy, warm, and velvety aftertaste.

Each bottle is individually numbered and unique. Only 100 bottles are available for sale and are limited to 3 bottles per purchase.
