Salzl New Style 2024, 0,75 l

The name‘New Style’ hits the nail on the head for this pure Chardonnay. A very modern white wine that shines with its power, pleasing use of oak and delicate fruity sweetness. This style is also frequently found in the USA and is sure to appeal to a wide audience.

Even the brilliant golden colour is a sign of its full-bodied character. The wonderfully intense aroma of ripe fruit, paired with subtle oaky notes, confirms this impression. Added to this are exotic tropical fruits, pineapple, a hint of papaya, vanilla and a touch of coconut. On the palate, it’s immediately full-bodied, with delicate fruit sweetness (4.1 g) and a wonderfully lively body. A creamy texture, juicy and dense, with a subtle smoky spice, a hint of caramel, vanilla pods, peach, apricot and banana. Plenty of punch on the palate – there’s certainly something going on here! A hint of pineapple lingers in the subtly salty, mineral-rich and warm finish. You’re certainly allowed to use the word ‘AWESOME’ here.

Pairs well with Asian dishes, hearty poultry dishes or on its own as a surprise for party guests.
