Description
Silk & Spice is a Portuguese semi-dry red wine that is charming and tempting and suitable for every day. The 2022 vintage was also named Best Buy by Wine Enthusiast Magazine and awarded 91 points.
The autochthonous red grapes come from the Dão, Bairrada and Lisboa regions and are aged for 6 months in American oak barrels. It is a red wine cuvee consisting of Touriga Nacional (40%), Alicante Bouschet (30%) and Baga (30%) varietals which are responsible for its wonderful fruity character and very soft tannins. Soft and well-matured on the palate with lots of black fruit and a slight sweetness through to the long, velvety finish.
Pairs well with grilled meat and burgers. Also great as a wine to enjoy on its own at parties.
