Varvaglione is one of the top wineries in Apulia. The whole family is passionate about wine and it shows in every sip.
From the sunny vineyards of Apulia comes this carefully crafted Primitivo di Manduria, which epitomises the centuries-old winemaking tradition of this region. Varvaglione has created a powerful yet elegant red wine that is a marvellous burgundy red colour in the glass. Typical Primitivo aromas of ripe, dark fruit and spicy notes, paired with a hint of cinnamon and liquorice.
On the palate, the wine impresses with intense flavours of dark fruit, chocolate and hints of spice. It remains elegant, juicy and fresh. The acidity provides plenty of flow and balance. With a beautiful, long, fruity finish. A wine that offers the taste of Apulia at an affordable price.
Pairs well with red meat, game and mature cheese.
Also a great wine to enjoy solo.
