This Primitivo clearly shows why the Puglia region is so popular. It is powerful and juicy, with a pleasing sense of elegance.

Its appearance already sets the tone, with a deep, rich ruby red colour. On the nose, ripe dark fruit is accompanied by spicy notes, along with subtle hints of chocolate, a little cinnamon and a touch of liquorice. It is immediately inviting and builds anticipation for the first sip.

On the palate, the wine reveals its strengths. It is juicy, rounded and well-balanced. The dark fruit continues, supported by a gentle spiciness and a well-judged level of fruit sweetness. Despite its intensity, it remains surprisingly elegant, with a fresh character that makes it very easy to drink. The finish is long, soft and fruity.

The grapes come from older vines and are handled with great care before the wine matures in wood for several months. This process gives it depth and structure.

It is an ideal match for grilled meat, game dishes or strong cheese. It also works perfectly well on its own.
