Allram Weißburgunder Papageno 2023, 0,75 L

This Weißburgunder (Pinot Blanc) from Kamptal is certainly the fruitiest of all the pinot varietals. The grapes come from the Ried Hasel and Ried Gautscher vineyards where the soils are characterised by iron-laden sediments of the primordial sea.

After 3 months on the fine lees, this dry white wine was matured classically in steel tanks. It impresses with a radiant clarity. The aroma of juicy yellow pears and fully ripe mandarins with a well-supported acidity ensures a pleasant drinking flow. Balanced, multi-layered and delicately mineral. Ages well, can be stored for 5-10 years.

Great value for money and a good accompaniment to asparagus, schnitzel and hearty home-cooked fare.
