Description
The "Goldberg" vineyard in Central Burgenland holds true treasures. The powerful, single-varietal Blaufränkisch Reserve made by this young winemaker proves that the best red wines in the region thrive here. In addition to the high ratings, we were particularly impressed by the silky elegance and the incredible value for money.
Aged in new barrique barrels with a subtle spiciness and wild berry aroma on the nose. Full-bodied on the palate with elegant roasted flavours. Fully ripe, juicy, full-bodied on the palate which appears much leaner than it actually is. Warm and lingering, it glides down to the finish. It will continue to prove its worth for many years to come.
Pairs well with a Sunday roast, red meat or lamb.
