Blazic Sauvignon Collio DOC 2025, 0,75 l

If you like Sauvignon that doesn’t just scream of gooseberry and grass, but also has a touch of the exotic, then Blazic is the perfect choice for you. The grapes come from organically farmed vineyards around Cormons – Zegla, Capriva del Friuli and Subida – and are harvested by hand in early September.

Two days’ maceration at a cool 8 degrees ensures freshness and minerality, before the wine matures for six months in stainless steel tanks and a further two months in the bottle.

On the nose, you’ll find ripe yellow fruit, exotic notes and a hint of lychee. On the palate, it’s well-structured, lively and mineral, yet velvety and pleasantly fresh.

A great accompaniment to lightly matured cheese, white meat or as a common thread running from the starter through to the fish main course.
