Pinot Noir is the rising star of Patagonia, the up-and-coming wine region of Argentina. The “Chacra La Papay” range is the winery’s youthful yet high-quality entry-level line, with a focus on showcasing the grape varieties and the region itself.

The vineyards are located in the far south of Argentina at around 39° south latitude. Here, the continental climate with wide temperature variations, dry air, steady winds, and well-drained soils allows the grapes to ripen slowly and aromatically. Harvested by hand, the grapes are gently pressed and aged for nine months in used French and American oak barrels.

The Chacra La Papay Pinot Noir 2024 immediately captivates with its youthful juiciness and easy drinkability. In the glass, it shines a clear, bright ruby red, releasing aromas and flavours of red fruits, accompanied by a cool mineral note, fine spices, and a touch of vanilla. On the palate, it is balanced, mild, and silky, with soft tannins.
