PIWI grape varieties, which are resistant to fungal diseases, are becoming increasingly popular and are very much in vogue. This variety has also been approved as a quality wine in Austria for several years. At Weingut Scharl, the Muscaris variety already makes up 10% of the total vineyard area, and the trend is rising.

Matured dry in stainless steel tanks, this wine is a light and fruity white. It offers aromas of herbs, lemon balm, and a touch of elderflower. On the palate, it is grapey and fruity with a juicy character. It has good length and invites another sip. Very clear and pure, it also shows an intense note of nutmeg.

A wine that offers plenty of drinking pleasure. It is sure to delight your circle of friends, whether enjoyed on its own as an aperitif, as a terrace wine, or paired with light salads and vegetarian dishes.
