There is a good reason why Côtes de Provence is booming. The rosés from this region are exactly what you would expect from a high-quality summer wine: light in colour, fragrant on the nose, fresh on the palate and so easy to drink that the bottle is often empty sooner than planned.

However, Rosé N°2 is much more than a simple introduction to Provence. It is a sophisticated, beautifully balanced rosé from an outstanding winery that immediately invites another sip. On the nose, it reveals ripe peach, accompanied by delicate rose petals, subtle berry notes and a hint of citrus. On the palate, the wine is juicy, fresh and surprisingly full-bodied, without ever feeling heavy.

It is this balance that makes it so appealing. The wine is approachable enough for the terrace, yet has sufficient character for a formal dinner. It is very easy to drink, so it may not be surprising if one bottle for two feels slightly insufficient.

It pairs beautifully with a Niçoise salad, grilled fish, antipasti, Mediterranean vegetables or simply a long evening with friends.
