Description
When Albert Gesellmann makes wine, he knows exactly what he is doing. Although you might not expect to find a Chardonnay in central Burgenland, this wine clearly shows the winemaker’s skilled craftsmanship.
This dry wine was matured partly in stainless steel tanks and partly in used barriques before being blended together. The result is a delicate creaminess that balances beautifully with the acidity. The nose reveals ripe apples, exotic fruit and a touch of caramel. Extremely juicy and finely structured on the palate, with notes of passion fruit and banana coming through. The finish is long and elegant, with subtle mineral notes. Everything is perfectly balanced.
An elegant and versatile all-rounder that pairs beautifully with a wide range of dishes.
