Description
Albert Gesellmann is a skilled expert at his craft! A unexpected Chardonnay from central Burgenland may be unexptected, but this winemaker's fine touch is all the more evident here.
This dry wine was matured partly in steel tanks and partly in used barriques and then blended. This lends the wine a delicate creaminess that balances the acidity. Ripe apples, exotic fruits and a hint of caramel on the nose. Extremely juicy and finely textured on the palate. Passion fruit and banana come to the fore. Nice length on the finish with mineral notes. Everything is just right!
