Günter u. Regina Triebaumer Furmint 2021

Furmint is a grape variety that was widespread 100 years ago. Today, this elegant rarity is, within Austria, almost exclusively found in Rust. There are still large areas of cultivation in the Hungarian Tokaji area and in Slovenia. The Triebaumer family has been producing these wines for many decades and Günter is now doing great things with them: He makes a very interesting white wine, an ace at every tasting and a great addition to evenings with friends.

Yellow fruits first appear: Williams pear, juicy pineapple notes and quince. Close your eyes and see a yellow-white, sweeping meadow of flowers with a fruit-laden vine.

Spring meets autumn - dry, vital and stimulating with complex acidity. Hearty and balanced. Nice note of sea buckthorn, compact and carried by a persistent note of lemon. Such a wine can be described as elegant and extremely interesting at the same time. A great accompaniment to meals, including home cooking, bean strudel, a power snack with bread and much more.
