Silvia Heinrich Maestra 2020, 0,75 L

The Maestra is a rather feminine counterpart to the more muscular Maestro from Silvia Heinrich. It shows a fine, silky character and complex fruity notes. It is quieter than loud and still very delicate.

This red wine cuvee is made from Blaufränkisch, Merlot and Syrah and was matured in used wooden barrels in order to minimise the wood influence on the wine.

The nose is shaped by a fine aroma of ripe cherries and blackberries. Dry and juicy, with a gentle extra sweetness on the palate. Rather soft and elegant, with ripe cherries, velvety tannins and a delicate touch of chocolate. Not too heavy, with good length and a charming character. Rich in finesse on the finish, with a mild acidity structure.

A multi-faceted accompaniment to food and above all a restrained companion in conversation that will bring pleasure for many years to come.
