Description
Josef Scharl shows how well this white wine variety fits into the Styrian volcanic region with this upmarket Chardonnay from the "Ortswein" category. The grapes come exclusively from the beautiful municipality of "St. Anna am Aigen".
Matured in stainless steel tanks and large wooden barrels, the wine has been allowed to mature on the lees for some time. The wine has now reached perfect drinking maturity and is very enjoyable to drink
Dry and juicy with intense fruit aromas of banana and apricot and subtle notes of quince on the finish. The compact acidity balances the fruit beautifully. Mineral aftertaste with a good drinking flow ensures a very harmonious, slightly creamy mouthfeel. Great value for money.
Pairs perfectly with mushrooms, cheese, pork medallions, poultry, etc. Sure to find many fans among wine lovers.
