Description
Weingut Kracher in Illmitz is one of the best 3 sweet wine producers in the world!
This Trockenbeerenauslese from Rosenmuskateller grapes shows very clearly why this is the case - Falstaff even gives it an unbelievable 98 points - a rare sensation, which unfortunately happens far too infrequently!
The sweet wine was allowed to mature in barriques for 18 months and now has a very long life and enormous storage potential in front of it. 250g residual sugar and 12% ABV are the best prerequisites for this. In the glass, we find intense aromas of rose and hibiscus blossoms. Almost creamy on the palate; floral notes merge with wild berries. Well-integrated tannins and great acidity demand another sip.
A wonderful Trockenbeerenauslese that pairs well with duck liver or chocolate mouse. Also great on its own, turning every drink into a special celebration.
