The first vineyard Ried Berg, in the Traisental, is certainly one of the finest sites in this winegrowing region. Markus Huber knows better than almost any other winemaker in the area how to craft outstanding wines with enormous potential here.

Only hand-picked organic grapes are matured for 8 months in large acacia wood barrels and kept for a long time on the fine lees. The result is an elegant wine with energy and a clear varietal character.

Intense aromas and flavours of orange zest, yellow pear, stone fruit and subtle meadow herbs. Rich in finesse with delicately salty mineral notes, dry yet intensely fruity, and with a very long, pleasantly warm finish.

Pairs beautifully with white meat, cheese or Asian curries. Safe ageing potential of 10 to 15 years.
