Description
Langenlois is the centre of the Kamptal appellation and is widely regarded as the epitome of wine culture. The loess soil deposited here over thousands of years provides the foundation for this local wine.
Sourced from very good loess sites in Langenlois, this is a mature and already quite charming Paradeveltliner: pithy pear fruit with hints of orange zest; juicy melon on the palate, still lively, fresh and engaging to drink at every stage. A fine structure with a lively interplay of fruit and acidity. Plenty of grip and backbone on the savoury finish. Notes of yellow pear and delicate spice linger for a long time.
This is what a good Veltliner from Langenlois should taste like. A versatile companion to food, especially everyday dishes and Viennese cuisine.
