Pecorino may sound like a cheese at first glance, but it is in fact a very exciting white grape variety from central Italy. This wine shows clearly why we appreciate it so much. It appears bright and fresh in the glass. The nose is characterised by lemon, lime, green apple, a little pineapple and a hint of exotic fruit.

On the palate, the wine is crisp, lively and juicy. The acidity immediately whets the appetite for another sip, the fruit remains clear and fresh, and the finish has a fine, slightly mineral note. This is not a heavy white wine, but one with drive, freshness and plenty of drinking pleasure.

Torre Zambra ages this Pecorino in stainless steel and leaves it on the fine lees for a period. This gives it more body without taking away its freshness. It pairs well with fish, seafood, grilled vegetables, lemon pasta, or as an aperitif.
