Description
Another powerful red wine from Uwe Schiefer that immediately impresses with a complex and engaging palate. A Merlot in its purest form, expressing the minerality and complexity of southern Burgenland. A marvellous combination.
This still youthful Merlot clearly shows its strength. Subtle roasted notes from well-integrated oak meet juicy dark forest berry confit with a hint of nougat. Present, youthful tannins make it an ideal partner for steak or briefly seared red meat. It lingers for a very long time on the finish and demonstrates its full character.
Offers remarkable ageing potential. Best decanted or opened one to two hours before drinking.
