Description
One of Glatzer’s most famous red wines and a long-term bestseller! The shrikes living in the Göttlesbrunn vineyards are pretty rough members of the avian world, impaling their prey before eating them! These birds (known as Dornenvogel in German) are the namesake of this dense and full-bodied Zweigelt made from carefully chosen organic grapes.
A black core with perfect Amarena cherry. Soft and spicy at the same time. The wine is very smooth, almost silky, with a good texture. It lingers on the palate, with fine vanilla, chocolate nuances and gentle tannins.
A great accompaniment to dark meat, grilled dishes and pizza, among other things (perhaps a kebap or skewered corn cob).
