Description

The Uhudler is becoming increasingly popular. This unique wine is made from the Isabella grape varietal grown almost exclusively in Austria in southern Burgenland. It has previously been referred to as Heckenklescher (hedge wine) due to its high acidity.

This fragrant sparkling wine with added carbonation tastes of wild berries and currants. It is fruity with around 30g of residual sugar, which buffers the acidity. The fruity note is clearly emphasised and balanced on the palate with a harmonious finish. The Frizzabella has an alcohol content of 10.5% ABV and is perfect as a light, refreshing aperitif in summer. It's also lovely with strawberry-based desserts.
