Château du Gazin

Château du Gazin is located in the heart of the Canon-Fronsac appellation, one of the most exciting regions on the right bank of Bordeaux. Wines are produced here that combine the best of tradition and a modern understanding of wine: powerful, structured and yet with elegant freshness.

The vines grow on clay and limestone soils, which provide depth and minerality. The high proportion of Merlot (around 85%) gives the wines their soft, fruity character, while Cabernet Franc and a touch of Malbec provide structure and flavour.

In the cellar, work is carried out with great sensitivity - careful harvesting, gentle fermentation and thoughtful ageing in wood and stainless steel create wines with balance and character. The result is Bordeaux red wines that are both young with beautiful juiciness and mature with depth and complexity.
