Grown on the stony, barren slate soils of the "Riefring Thal" vineyard, this wine was aged for 18 months in both large and small wooden barrels. After six additional months in the bottle, it slowly reveals its full potential. The nose is greeted by an exotic blend of banana and delicate wood aromas. On the palate, it’s gripping and full-bodied, with a subtle extract sweetness. Flavours of mango and a hint of creamy vanilla lead to a mineral finish. A harmonious, long-lasting finish confirms its ageing potential. Decanting or aerating will enhance your enjoyment!
