Clos Montblanc Premium Cava Brut

This premium cava from Clos Montblanc in Catalonia makes it clear that this region, like Champagne, has a centuries-old tradition of sparkling wine. On the one hand, Cava means drinking pleasure and this is certainly a great drink for parties and celebrations, but it also means high-quality sparkling wine on par with other regions.

This cuvée made from Macabeo and Parellada, the typical grape varieties in the region, puts you in a good mood. Balanced on the nose, light fruits, some pear and brioche, with mineral hints. Fresh on the palate, with a balanced acidity and fine perlage. The dosage fits perfectly and provides the necessary structure. A sparkling wine to drink neat, which also makes a great accompaniment to many dishes, especially Spanish cuisine with seafood and fish. Paella is a great pairing.
